Factual film production for broadcast and streaming.

The best documentaries do not just inform. They pull you in, hold you there, and leave you thinking differently about something you assumed you already understood.

Where we sit

Independent instincts. Broadcast discipline.

Factual entertainment is one of the most competitive spaces in television, and the appetite for it has never been stronger. True crime, history, nature, social issues, music and sport. Audiences are watching more long-form factual content than at any point in broadcasting history.

We develop and produce factual content for broadcast and streaming, bringing together the creative instincts of independent filmmakers with the production discipline that commissioning editors expect. Both halves matter, and most outfits only have one of them.

What we produce

Six genres we know well.

Access, research and storytelling structure decide whether a factual project works. We take all three seriously.

True crime

The dominant genre in factual worldwide. We develop original projects with journalists, legal experts and contributors, built to be rigorous and responsible as well as compelling.

History & archive

Experience sourcing and licensing archive, and working inside the creative and legal frameworks that archive-heavy production demands.

Music documentaries

A genuine background in music documentary, and an understanding of what makes an artist story travel beyond the existing fanbase.

Social issues

Films that centre real people and real experience while building the wider argument with care. These take longer, and we give them the patience they deserve.

Human interest

Not every documentary needs a crime. Some of the most enduring factual films are built around one extraordinary person or a way of life nobody has seen.

Sport

Sport comes with narrative structure built in. We go past the result and into the decisions and motivations behind it.

Shooting crews who know how to earn and keep the trust of contributors over a long shoot.

03

Post-production

Edit, grade, mix, archive clearance and compliance, delivered to broadcast specification.

04

Delivery

Full paperwork, versioning and technical delivery to the broadcaster or platform.

Tell us the subject and what access you have. We will tell you honestly whether it will commission, and what it would take.
