About Flayr FX Grid Maker
Split screens, mosaic transitions, layout guides, video walls. Flayr FX Grid Maker builds the grid for you: every cell a solid on its own layer, sized and positioned to the pixel.
What it does
- One-click grids: 2×2, 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 buttons, or any rows × columns up to 32.
- Gaps and margins in pixels.
- Colour: one colour, the Flayr palette, a checkerboard, grey steps or random.
- Clear names (“Grid 4x4 R1C1”) in reading order, optionally parented to one null to move the lot.
- Many comps at once: select comps in the Project panel and each gets its own grid, fitted to its size.
Works with the other Flayr FX tools

Installing
Unzip, then in After Effects choose File › Scripts › Run Script File and pick the installer. Restart After Effects and open the tool from the Window menu. Works on Mac and Windows, After Effects 2022 and later.
