About Flayr FX Screenshots
For review notes, style frames, client updates and bug reports. Flayr FX Screenshots saves the frame under the playhead as a PNG and logs it in a dockable panel with a thumbnail, the comp, timecode and your description.
What it does
- One-click capture: type a description (or don’t) and press Capture, or Return.
- A visual log: thumbnails, comp names, timecodes and frame numbers, saved with the project.
- Jump back: click any thumbnail to open that comp at that exact frame.
- Export: every shot copied to a folder with clear file names, a contact sheet you can open in any browser (index.html) and a spreadsheet (screenshots.csv).
- Organised on disk: shots are saved in a “screenshots” folder next to the project.
With Project Notes, send any shot to your to-do list as “review this”, linked to its frame.
Works with the other Flayr FX tools

Installing
Unzip, then in After Effects choose File › Scripts › Run Script File and pick the installer. Restart After Effects and open the tool from the Window menu. Works on Mac and Windows, After Effects 2022 and later.
