About Flayr FX Project Organiser
Inherited a project with 400 loose items? Flayr FX Project Organiser sorts it in one click: comps in one folder, images in another, video, audio and solids in theirs.
What it does
- Sorts by type: comps, precomps (comps used inside other comps), images, video, audio, solids and missing footage.
- Your folder names: rename any folder or switch it off.
- Shows you first: you always see what will move before anything does.
- A clear warning on big projects: past 100 items (you choose the number) it puts up a warning sign and offers to save a backup copy of the .aep before it reorganises everything.
- Undoable: one Edit › Undo puts every item back.
- Leaves things alone: folders you list, and the Social Media folder from Social Comps, are not touched. Empty folders can be cleared away afterwards.
With Project Notes, each tidy-up is written into the project’s notes.
Works with the other Flayr FX tools

Installing
Unzip, then in After Effects choose File › Scripts › Run Script File and pick the installer. Restart After Effects and open the tool from the Window menu. Works on Mac and Windows, After Effects 2022 and later.
